The effect of the hiring process must be captured through a measurable formula: for example, an aggregate of performance / time-to-productivity /retention (for 6-12 months) and satisfaction hiring manager in order to compare before/after. ​ The decrease in turnover during the probation period can be controlled as a separate early attrition KPI, because departures in the first 90 days are a separate pattern that affects the cost of hiring and the effectiveness of onboarding.
