Problem description

During group classes, children often lack a competitive component and an instant visual result of their work. The existing chess platforms are mainly focused on individual problem solving and do not make it convenient to organize face-to-face mini-competitions between students on the same screen. As a result, the involvement of participants decreases, especially among beginning children, for whom the game format of learning is important. It is necessary to create a simple tool that will turn solving chess problems into an interactive competition.

Expected effect

increasing student engagement in the classroom; increasing the number of tasks solved during the lesson; the emergence of new game learning formats; increasing student motivation; It can be used both in offline classes and in the future in an online format.; creating the basis for further development of interactive educational products.

Purpose and description of task (project)

To develop an interactive educational web module for conducting competitive chess classes. The module should allow several students to solve chess tasks simultaneously on the same screen in a game format. The main goal of the project is to increase the involvement of children in the learning process through elements of competition, visual progress and instant feedback. The project is considered as a separate educational tool that can later be integrated with existing online platforms and internal databases of educational materials.

Note

This is an MVP project that can be much more complicated and interesting. It is important for me to find real performers who will be able to create a real product in a specific time frame. Chess and game engines are available in open libraries.
