Problem description

Existing boxed CRM systems (Bitrix24, amoCRM, Salesforce, HubSpot) have a number of critical limitations for the target audience: the licensed model does not scale well with staff growth and quickly becomes more expensive than self-written development; excessive functionality complicates onboarding of employees and reduces engagement; deep customization for unique processes rests on the architectural limitations of the vendor and binds the company to its ecosystem; for industries with regulated data turnover (public sector, finance, medicine), the storage of personal data in the Russian Federation and control over the source code are critical, which SaaS solutions do not provide. As a result, companies are forced to adjust processes to the CRM logic, losing efficiency, or spending significant funds on third-party integrators.

Expected effect

Reducing the processing time of an incoming lead from 4 hours to 30 minutes (by 8 times). The "lead → deal" conversion rate increased by 15-25% due to automatic follow-up scenarios and reminders. Increase the accuracy of the quarterly revenue forecast to ±10%. Reducing the total cost of CRM ownership by 50-60% over a 3-year horizon compared to boxed solutions. Saving about 1,200 man-hours per year for a 30-person department by eliminating double data entry. The projected revenue growth is 8-12% in the first year after commercial operation; the payback period of the project is 14-18 months.

Purpose and description of task (project)

Development of the corporate CRM system "ClientFocus", a self-written solution for automating the full cycle of working with clients: from initial contact and lead qualification to transactions, support and repeat sales. The system should become a single point of truth about customers, transactions, communications, and employee tasks, replacing a set of disparate tools (Excel, mail, messengers, and individual trackers). The target audience of the solution is small and medium—sized businesses with a sales force of 20-200 people, whose unique business processes do not fit well with boxed CRM systems.
