Problem description

There are a significant number of offers on the marketplace that: - do not receive orders for a long time; - have views, but are not converted into a purchase; - significantly lag behind the average indicators in the category. Such suggestions: - worsen the relevance of search results; - create a feeling of a “cluttered” catalog for users; - demotivate sellers; - they complicate the analysis and assortment management. Why can't the problem be solved manually?: - the volume of the catalog does not allow manual parsing; - the reasons for the lack of demand are not obvious; - manual moderation reacts after the fact, not preemptively.

Expected effect

1. The system regularly analyzes all active offers. 2. The viability index (Offer Health Score) is calculated for each offer. 3. When the index drops below a set threshold: - the main reason for low efficiency is determined; - the platform's reaction scenario is running.

Purpose and description of task (project)

To develop a system that automatically identifies sellers' offers with zero or abnormally low commercial efficiency and determines the probable reason for the lack of demand in order to: - give the seller specific recommendations for improving the offer; - or correctly withdraw the offer from the active catalog. Goal Improve the efficiency and quality of the marketplace catalog by: - reducing the proportion of broken offers; - increase the conversion rate of listing and search; - reducing the “noise” in the catalog; - GMV growth without increasing traffic.
