Problem description

The problem of enrichment of fine grades of chromium raw materials is one of the complex tasks associated with the processing of chromium ores. Standard methods such as gravity enrichment, which work with coarse-grained materials, lose their effectiveness when processing fine-grained raw materials. Fine particles are difficult to concentrate, as their physico-chemical properties make it difficult to separate based on density or magnetic susceptibility. As a result, part of the useful component is lost in the tailings of enrichment, which reduces the overall chromium recovery rate.
