Developers spend a lot of time on things unrelated to development, such as phone calls, reading documentation, and helping colleagues. With our VSCode plugin, developers will be able to see their effectiveness in working with code, files, and projects directly in the editor.

Expected effect

Increase developer efficiency, provide a picture of developer employment, find files and projects that reduce efficiency or distract from work, and provide activity metrics directly in the development environment.

Purpose and description of task (project)

We need to write a plugin (extension) for Visual Studio Code. It should have authorization, functionality for selecting files/projects to track, and the plugin should also display the user's work hours for today directly in the VSCode interface.
