Scaling of automated information systems for early detection of forest fires (AIS ROLP), as well as unification of systems based on the Command Center for Strategic Planning and Operational Management of the Ministry of Emergency Situations
During 2025, it is planned to scale the ROLP AIS to the priority mountainous territories of the state forest fund. Also, the unification of systems will be carried out for the purpose of centralized monitoring on the ground. AI in the system (machine/ computer vision) is now used for automatic fire detection (analysis of the incoming video stream) When smoke appears in the frame, the neural network recognizes it (analyzes the frame, classifies objects, reacts to objects of interest) and transmits an alarm signal to the system operator. The result of the neural network is a freeze frame from a video camera, which highlights smoke (the object of interest).

Flood forecasting system
Annual floods pose a serious threat to the population, agriculture, infrastructure and the environment. Traditional forecasting methods often do not take into account all factors, which leads to inaccurate forecasts, lack of timely measures and significant losses. The purpose of the case is to develop a tool for flood forecasting and modeling their consequences using modern data processing, modeling, and machine learning technologies. Tasks: 1. Flood forecasting: • Build a model to predict the probability of flooding in given geographical locations. • Take into account meteorological data (temperature, precipitation, snow cover, etc.). • Take into account hydrological data (river level, flow velocity, reservoir volume, etc.). 2. Impact modeling: • Simulate flood zones in case of flooding, taking into account the terrain. • Assess the impact of floods on the population, roads, buildings, and agricultural land. 3.
